Trident Servicii și Mentenăță (formerly UTI Servicii și Mentenană) completed, in 2019, the implementation of the video monitoring system for border crossing points located on national roads. The project was awarded by the National Road Infrastructure Administration Company (CNAIR) to our company in 2017, within the framework of a public tender.
The contracted works, worth approximately 1.7 million euros, aimed to create fixed, automatic, control and weighing points in border crossing areas to verify the existence and validity of the rovinieta, as well as to determine the weight of vehicles in motion.
Using state-of-the-art video cameras, the system allows for the local identification of vehicle registration numbers, saving and processing images and transmitting the resulting data to CNAIR’s IT systems.
Basically, the system developed and installed by Trident Servicii și Mentenăță collects relevant data for CNAIR’s activity carried out at border crossing points and located on national roads, in order to increase the efficiency of monitoring, control, administration, operation and information activities carried out by the beneficiary of this project.
Within this project, our specialists carried out design work, electrical connection work of the video cameras, equipment supply, hardware and software configuration and commissioning of the system in 34 monitoring/control points of the Rovinieta, 26 vehicle monitoring/weighing points, as well as in the central location, CESTRIN.
We also ensured the training of the personnel who operate the equipment and provide system maintenance services.
