It can discriminate and highlight foreign objects such as explosives, drugs and plastics hidden among other goods in cars, trucks and containers. It also allows the operator to distinguish objects such as firearms hidden in or among organic objects.
It can also be combined with the Automatic Radioactive Detection (ARD) system to perform X-ray scanning and nuclear analysis simultaneously.
