Trident SM has completed the fiber optic interconnection works of thermal power plants with the Energy Dispatching Office of the Port of Constanta.
Our company designed and executed the telecommunications systems used to interconnect 9 power plants (out of 50) with the Energy Dispatching Office. The project was carried out in stages, depending on the progress of the modernization works of the thermal installations in the power plants.
The connection between the Energy Dispatching Office and the thermal power plants is achieved through three communication nodes: CTLF_Agigea, CTLF_Nord – Port Vechi and CTLF_MIM – Port Nou. These are interconnected by new fiber optic circuits, single mode and connected to the beneficiary’s communications bus, C.N. APMC S.A., enabling data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps.
The hardware infrastructure installed in the Dispatch Center and in the rooms for the thermal power plants is modern, consisting of: metal cabinets for telecommunications and networking, communication switches, SFP fiber optic transceivers, power supplies, electrical distribution boards, fiber optic terminal boxes, fiber optic connector elements.
