Trident SM specialists designed and installed the video monitoring system for ship traffic on the navigable channel of the entry/exit area of maritime vessels on the Sulina Canal of the Black Sea (Bara Sulina).
The security system, whose beneficiary is the Autonomous River Administration of the Lower Danube Galati, provides images during day and night, in real time and simultaneously to the Waterways Section in Sulina and to the headquarters of the Autonomous River Administration of the Lower Danube Galati. The images are stored for a minimum period of 30 days.
The system was designed to operate in conditions of maximum efficiency, without the intervention of a human operator, 24/24. The access to its settings and functions is secured.
The system installed by Trident SM is extremely useful for the monitoring all ships and boats circulating between the Danube and the Black Sea. Also, high-performance equipment can help identify possible obstacles that may prevent the safe conduct of ship traffic. Also, in case of incidents or accidents on the water, video images can represent evidence in order to establish the culprits.
For data transmission, our team implemented state-of-the-art solutions, which ensure the level of information protection requested by the client and allow data transmission between two areas located over 150 km apart, Sulina and Galati.
